The delegation of the Penza region within the framework of Volga Region economic mission has visited the Netherlands from the 2nd of May till the 6th of May. The Russian delegation was headed by the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Volga Federal District Alexander V.Konovalov. The Governor of the Penza region Vasily K.Bochkarev headed the delegation of the Penza region including the Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Penza region on investments and tourism matters Andrey A.Kulintsev, the Head of the Informatization Department of the Penza Region Government Inna V. Ashenbrenner, the Chairman of Gubernsky Bank “Tarkhany” Board Senik V.Saakyan, as well as directors of several industrial enterprises of the region. The Governor of the Penza region Vasily K.Bochkarev has carried on negotiations with the Netherlands Minister of Economy and the Minister of Agriculture. Members of the Penza delegation have participated in the conference led by Rene van der Linden, President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. They have held a presentation of the Penza region as well as numerous meetings with Dutch businessmen interested in investments, equipment delivery to the region. They have reached a number of agreements on Dutch support in organization of flower and vegetable auctions, in real estate market development, logistics centers creation as well as in the sphere of education and information technologies. They have studied methods of professional education system. Representatives of the Penza business elite have visited a number of Dutch enterprises for the purpose of studying modern technologies in production.
