The representative of the company “Asia-cement” in the Penza Region Sergey Kasimkulov reported that the enterprise was intending to provide with a ground plan of the project of cement works building in the Nikolsk district of the Penza Region. The supposed investment volume of the project is up to 150 mln. dollars. The project is worked out on the Governor’s initiative.
New cement works haven’t been built in the country for a long time, equipment wear and tear in this branch reaches 70%. Owing to construction of a new plant, the regional budget will be supplied of tax payments and as for the Nikolsk district, it will have additional working places. According to preliminary calculations, the services of about 900 persons will be enlisted to the building ground, 260 working places will be created at the enterprise. One line will annually produce 1,250 tons of cement. At the same time, a pit will be worked.
